I always enjoy the Post 9/11 Veterans events. Great people, always positive vibes, and you can tell they truly care and want to help our Veterans. My favorite event is casino night!!

Love volunteering with this group! They are dedicated to our military veterans. One of the few non-profits that are truly non-profit!
Great organization that doesn’t forget women are Veterans too, and they hold an annual women’s breakfast to honor them. Thank you Post 911 Veterans!
This nonprofit is amazing! I love their enthusiasm and dedication to veterans, active duty, and reservists. The events are top notch and the board of directors, officers, and volunteers are friendly and very personable. They carry the fighting spirit of our nation and its military members. Mission and community is at the forefront of all this organization does and I hope to see them continue to grow in size and capacity.
Great non-profit that helps out local vets. It's 100% volunteer so almost all of the funds collected to directly to vets.
Great leadership and highly recommend.
Post 9/11 Veterans does a wonderful job in the community. From School supply drives to toy drives to bringing veterans closer with their community. I am proud to be associated with this group! I was a Board member for 6 years and am very proud of all the good we have done for the Tampa Bay area~
I first learned about this amazing organization from my brother who was on the board at the time 4/5 years ago. One of the things that stood out to me most is that the Board is completely volunteer. Everyone donates their time, resources and connections in order to give back. I began to volunteer and quickly learned that there was a shared passion for America, and our local community specifically our incredible veterans that was unmatched. I now have the honor to sit on the board of this nonprofit and feel blessed to be able to volunteer and give back alongside of the some of the most genuine American Patriots and Veterans you will ever know.
Post 9/11 Veterans Corp. is an incredible non-profit, dedicated to helping our returning service members reintegrate into their communities.

I have been working with Post 9/11 Veterans for over 5 years now and I have never been part of an organization that does this uch good for our local veterans. Form starting out selling t-shirts to now, hosting major events like a golf tournament, next year's fishing tournament, back to school and toy drives.
I am proud to be a member of this organization and very proud and honored t be able to do what we do to help our veterans!
I’m very pleased to review this Post 911 Service Group. I first became involved when asked for a contribution to a Toys for Tots fundraiser a few years ago near holidays. I delivered a box of toys and met dozens of volunteers happily greeting those that came by. This is an organization made up of active military, first responders, retired military and local citizens. Many were in their uniforms, but all were super grateful and so professional in their gratitude for the toys. I was most impressed. Since then, I have attended numerous other fundraisers like golf tournaments, casino nights, drives for back packs and school supplies for kids and many more. They even sponsored a beach outing for dozens of school children to explore nature and ocean life.
They are all super generous with their time. But most impressive is that 100% of every dollar they raise goes to benefit kids, community, or veterans in need of support. There is absolutely no one that takes a penny of salary or compensation of any kind, very different from most “non-profits”. In fact many of them take money out of their own pockets to support the various activities for the community.
They treat others with respect and professionalism, deeply care about each other, our country, and the community they strive to serve. This is truly an organization that makes our area a better place to live. I’m proud of the service they provide and pleased to endorse their works of charity and good will.
I have been involved with donating and attending the 9/11 Post Veterans Corp since it started. It is such an amazing organization. The men, women, families that oversee the organization are "first class" They are so patriotic, very loyal to the organization and each other. It is truly a pleasure and an honor to be with these people at the many events that they hold throughout the year - always servicing those in need. Examples are back to school drives with donations of backpacks and school supplies, school lunches, toys for tots at the holidays, all in addition to supporting the "post 9/11 veterans". I truly cannot say enough about the good they do for their communities.
I have been to a couple post-911 meetups, and am so impressed by how kind everyone is. I feel like family here.
Post 911 Veterans does a great job serving our community. I have been to many of their events and it’s incredible to see the outreach to so many.
Being a volunteer and a part of this organization is an honor. When volunteering with this group, it is a good feeling to know that you're directly helping Veterans in the local community. Every member of this organization is a volunteer. Nobody gets paid. That allows for extra resources to be distributed back into the community.
Post 911 Veterans is here to assist veterans and the Tampa Bay community. We provide scholarships through our Bridge Scholarship program and assist Veterans with integrating into the local community upon separation.

The organization is 100% volunteer so the Veteran gets the most help possible
Success is measured in lives positively impacted, not in dollars and cents.
This organization isn't pursuing record breaking fundraising or massive events. We are making a positive impact in the community in and around Tampa Bay. Veterans we are, but we are your sons and daughters, fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers. Home is a distant memory on the far side of a void. Somedays, home seems further away than ever.
We work hard to bridge that void and bring Veterans back home.
Great enthusiasm and passion for veterans! This-all volunteer organization has plans to grow our volunteer base with exciting new events in the pipeline. I love the camaraderie and commitment to helping veterans, their families, and our community.
Being on Post 9/11 Veterans Gasparilla krewe, Ye Krewe of Valor, is the icing on the cake for meeting the minimum hours of volunteer service, which is not difficult to do!
Our Gold status in Guidestar and tracking of volunteer hours for receiving Presidential awards promises our commitment to transparency and recognition well deserved.
