Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Positively Social of New England, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization of men and women with HIV/AIDS and volunteers whose purpose is to organize an all-inclusive retreat for people living with HIV/AIDS. We strive to see to the physical, emotional and nutritional needs of attendees to the retreat that we run twice each year. At the retreats we offer workshops on HIV information, education and prevention, updates on drugs and treatments, artistic therapy, self-help and motivational workshops as well. We offer lodging from the Prelude on Thursday through the rest of the weekend, Friday to Sunday. We offer this retreat at an affordable rate determined by the Board of Directors. We also offer limited scholarships to those who qualify, based on need.
