Mission: Positive directions is a state-licensed, outpatient behavioral health treatment agency. We support individuals, families and communities by providing services for mental health and addictive behaviors and by offering positive youth development programs.
Programs: Treatment:outpatient behavioral health and addictions counseling services for individuals and families including adolescents and children. Average monthly census of approximately 65 clients. Approximately 125 unduplicated clients are seen in a calendar year.
prevention:effective community-based prevention programs are built on participation and involvement. Our science based programs, including the creating lasting family connections parenting program and qpr suicide prevention classes are provided through our fairfield county alliance to prevent substance abuse and fairfield cares coalitions witch coordinate and enhance youth programs in westport, weston, wilton and fairfield. There are more than 2,000 people served by this program.
