Causes: Racquet Sports, Sports
Mission: Portland after school tennis & education, inc is a non-profit youth development organization for k-12th grade students. Our year around program creates effective partnerships with families, schools and volunteers to achieve academic and athletic success. Through one-on-one tutoring, tennis lessons, direct instruction, a strong emphasis on nutrition/fitness and parent education our program develops strong student athletes and prepares them for a productive future.
Programs: Through the extended-learning, summer, and enrichment programs, past&e has impacted the lives of more than 1,0000 at-risk children and their families in 2014 and have served more than 9,000 over time. Also during the year volunteers contributed 7,273 hours of in classroom mentoring and tutoring students.
