I don't doubt that PPA does help the cause of supporting the rights of poker players. However, they do seem to be somewhat disorganized. In particular, when I first made a donation a while ago, I never received my membership gift (a t-shirt and card protector that I was excited about), even after a number of email correspondences and a couple of assurances that it hadn't been sent and was now (then) going to be sent which eventually became non-responsive. I support PPA's mission, but that initial experience with them could have gone better.
