hospice house provides patients and their families a resource for inpatient skilled care at the end of life in their own community. Hospice provides not only the medical care that a patient requires, but also care for the emotional, social, and spiritual needs of the patient and their loved ones. Under the direction of a physician, the following team tends to all of the needs of the terminally ill: registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, social workers, chaplain and other medical personnel.
