Causes: Family Planning, Health, Reproductive Health Care, Reproductive Rights
Mission: Planned parenthood of central and greater northern new jersey, inc. Exists for the purpose of protecting the rights of, and providing the means for, every individual to control fertility and gain access to reproductive health care and family life education.
Programs: During 2014, provided high quality, voluntary and confidential family planning and reproductive health care services to 36,794 unduplicated individuals with 52,634 clinic visits. Services are provided at the following clinic locations, all in new jersey: elizabeth, englewood, flemington, freehold, hackensack, hazlet, morristown, new brunswick, newton, perth amboy, washington, plainfield, shrewsbury and spotswood.
ppcgnnj plays a vital role in providing quality, affordable reproductive health care and sexual health education to vulnerable populations, including low-income and uninsured women, men, and young people. Through our medical services, education and counseling we focus on the health and well-being of individuals. Through our medical services, education and counseling we focus on the health and well-being of individuals. Our goal is to protect, promote, and maintain health and to prevent disease. We do so by integrating our medical service delivery with community education in order to improve health, safety, and equity outcomes; and provide our clinicians and education staff with skills and strategies to change the social circumstances that shape the health of our patients.
