Mission: -to provide comprehensive reproductive health care services in settings which preserve and protect the essential privacy and rights of each individual;-to advocate public policies which guarantees these rights and ensure access to such services;-to provide educational programs which enhance understanding of individual and societal implications of human sexuality.
Programs: Provided comprehensive reproductive health care to 14,134 individuals during 32,697 visits to six health centers in monmouth and middlesex counties. Services include:-reproductive cancer screening-contraception-emergency contraception-sexually transmitted infection screening and treatment-hiv screening and counseling-pregnancy testing and options counseling-referrals for adoption, prenatal care, and abortion-first trimester abortion-colposcopy-preconception educationfamily planning services provided on a sliding fee scale.
community education and professional training is provided in locations throughout central new jersey. Participants include students, teachers, parents, social workers, medical students, clergy, medical professionals, and employees/clients of other not for profit organizations. Topics include healthy relationships, family communications, contraception, sexually transmitted infections, hiv/aids and relationship violence prevention. In 2011, 18,156 individuals attended 573 programs.
