Mission: Pied Piper Presents was founded to fill the need for high quality performing arts for children in Snohomish County. This we do by meeting the needs of two markets: the market for performances for families, which we meet through our public performance schedule; and the market for educational field trips, which we meet through our educational performance schedule. We believe all children should enjoy equal access to the arts, and exposure to the arts is an essential part of a child's educational experience. We recognize the growing body of scientific evidence which supports the notion that the arts can play a vital role in a child's educational achievement, his ability to relate to others in our society and his sense of self-esteem. Aside from the educational value of arts education, we believe we are building the next generation of performing arts patrons -- a noble endeavor in and of itself.
