Mission: Photo alliance supports contemporary photography serving artists, students, enthusiasts and collectors by fostering connections between california bay area arts and educational institutions and helping to better fulfill photographic programming in the community.
Programs: Photoalliance organized and sponsored eight lectures on photography for the general public and students with approximately 200 people in attendance for each lecture; organized and sponsored education workshops related to photography for both the general public and students; sponsored a book symposium; and held portfolio reviews for the general public at which aspiring/working photographers received feedback about their work from artists, critics and cultural commentators.
