Mission: The PhoenixGroup enables lifesaving assistance, advocacy, education and employment projects for U.S. Veterans & The Homeless population. Description: To eliminate the stigma associated with Veterans, The Homeless, Substance abuse & mental health issues. Through public awareness via collaboration with community leaders, local agencies and the municipal, state and Federal governments.  Positions:  1 Education:  Our nonpartisan mission is to disseminate timely, useful and educational information and support online. 2 Outreach:  To perform high quality, comprehensive service that is consistently available, accessible, and responsive to the needs of individuals, families and underprivileged groups. 3 Community:  To collaborate with communities leaders to contribute, facilitate, and promote solutions for the enrichment of all. 4 Legislative Agenda:  Our legislative program strives to support current and former service members by advocating a positive restructure in benefits and policy. 5 Awareness:  Comprehensive media awareness campaign to raise the public level of understanding that promotes insight, knowledge and appreciation for this rapidly expanding plight.

My name is steven i am homeless and was mugged, I went to these guys to get help getting my i.d. back so i can do temp work. They were very friendly showed my were to go and gave me the money 15 dollars. they also had me get my social securiy card again, paid to have my birth cerificate sent to me. I,m disabled so they also had me meet with an social security disability lawyer who too my case. gave my a phone card so i could call my family and train tokens. they did way more than I expected them to do. they are really good. I have been on the street for over 2 years. I heard about group through anouther guy on the street i had just got some work but no way to get there. they gave me train tokens for a week and they would till i got a check they also brought me to dmv and paid so i could get an id they also made me fill out forms so i could go to the doctor mass health. one guy also brought me toma meeting and i kinda liked it i,m gonna keep usin them
