Causes: Civil Rights, Counseling, Lesbian & Gay Rights, LGBTQ, Mental Health
Mission: We listen in confidentiality to family members who are troubled by a loved one's coming out and don't know how to cope. We listen to gays and lesbians who need the support of family but haven't yet found it.
We share our stories and concerns. We talk with people who have been there" and might be able to help others on their journey to loving and accepting a gay child, or knowing how to say "I'm gay" to a parent.
We learn from speakers who come to our meetings to teach us skills we can use to help ourselves and others understand sexual diversity. We act on any issue that touches on the support of our gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered loved ones."
