Our strategy: involve citizens in decisions which affect their well-being, bring services closer to families, use dollars more flexibly and effectively to meet the needs, be accountable for results.
with guidance from the rentry opportunity center (roc) staff, returning offenders assess their strengths and needs; then develop their own personal plan for successful transition back into the community. Roc staff assist the clients in locating and assessing appropriate resources to ensure success.

retired and senior volunteer program helps seniors put their skills and life experiences to work in our community addressing many critical community needs. Our 300 volunteers provided over 25,000 hours of service in fy 2009 in areas such as education, transporation, health, social services, conservation and assistance to not-for-profit organizations.
