The employees of Chariton Valley Association (CVA), proud partner of Center for Human Services, do an amazing job of getting the individuals that they serve out into the community. I often see them shopping or at community events. Our community has free concerts on the downtown square on Friday evenings in the summer. I love to see CVA employees and individuals together and clearly enjoying the music at these concerts. The CVA employees clearly care deeply about the people they serve. I am proud to be both a board member and a long-time donor for this organization.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Nearly 10,000 individuals across 50+ counties in Missouri.
Geographic areas served: Missouri
Programs: Early Childhood Services: Services from prenatal to age 5 through Early Head Start, Head Start, Missouri First Steps, and privately paid preschool. Clinical Behavioral Services: Therapy sessions focused on teaching replacement behaviors. Direct therapy and caregiver therapy options are available. Service Coordination: Case management services for individuals from birth through the adult lifespan. We connect clients to the support they need. Employment Services: Assists those with disabilities find employment through job coaching, resume building, interview skills, and benefits planning. Residential Services: Our housing programs value individual choices, encourage independence, and promote community integration. Community Support Services: Daily, meaningful life experiences and community engagement for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
