I was in Puerto Vallarta Mexico and knew a lady that cared or around 30 cats. She lost the lease on her home and had no place to move. We formed Pet Heaven and purchased a small ranch and built an animal shelter called Purr Project. we have around 150 cats on the two acre ranch that is fenced and allow the cats to roam free. There is also a house that a caretaker lives in to care for the shelter. There are no other large organizations like the Humane Society in the U.S. that care for homeless pets.
Pet Heaven also donates to animal shelters in the United States and Puerto Rico.
The photo is the first time we had a vet out to spay and neuter all of our cats at Purr Project.
