Mission: To produce a "pet" which is a three wheel, hand pedaled wheelchair that can go where wheelchairs can't go. Pet is an acronym for personal energy transportation. To provide a free gift of mobility in the form of adult or a child size pet for people living in poverty in economically developing societies who have lost the use of their legs to land mines, disease or accidents and who live in areas where a normal wheelchair cannot function. The organization assembles pets using volunteer labor. For the fiscal year ending june 30, 2017, the organization received 13,967 hours of volunteer services.
Programs: The organization manufactured and packed approximately 900 "pets". The organization shipped pets to international charity organization and various countries throughout the world. Shipments of pets were made to countries such as guiana and cameroon. The organization worked to increase the number of independent pet facilities in the united states. The need for pets continues to grow.
