Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Civil Rights, Women, Womens Rights

Mission: Our mission is to alleviate period poverty in schools across North Carolina by providing free menstrual products in girl's bathrooms. So far, we have successfully provided free period products in 4 schools in Wake County. This topic is an increasing concern in public school systems as 1 in 4 girls in North Carolina cannot afford menstrual hygiene products. Due to this, many female students are not able to give their full attention to their education. Through our dispensers and our ambassador program we hope to create menstrual equity in North Carolina one school at a time!

It helped to bring pads into our bathroom that have saved me and my friends a couple times - it has really helped to make school better and even some people more open (therefore decreasing the negative stigma behind periods)

I am absolutely thrilled to give a resounding five-star review to the incredible charity that provides period products to public high schools in North Carolina. The organization's dedication to addressing a fundamental need for students is not only commendable but truly life-changing.

From the moment I learned about their mission, I was deeply impressed by their commitment to breaking down barriers and ensuring that menstruating students have access to the essential products they need. It is heartening to know that there are organizations out there like this one, willing to step up and tackle the often-overlooked issue of period poverty.

The impact they have made on North Carolina's public high schools cannot be overstated. By providing free period products, they have directly alleviated the financial burden on countless students and their families. This simple act of compassion and understanding ensures that no student has to face the humiliation or stress of not being able to afford or access necessary menstrual supplies.

Moreover, this charity's efforts go beyond just providing products. They have actively worked to create a supportive and inclusive environment for students. Through educational programs and awareness campaigns, they aim to destigmatize menstruation and foster a sense of empowerment among students. By initiating conversations and breaking down taboos, they are changing mindsets and creating a more inclusive society.

The organization's transparency and accountability are truly commendable. I have seen firsthand the efficiency with which they operate, ensuring that every dollar donated is used effectively to support their mission. The team's passion and dedication shine through in every initiative they undertake, and it is evident that they prioritize the well-being and dignity of the students they serve.

It is undeniable that this charity's work has a lasting impact on the lives of students. By removing the barriers that hinder their education and personal growth, they are empowering young individuals to reach their full potential. The gratitude and relief expressed by students and school staff are a testament to the charity's effectiveness and the immense difference they are making in the community.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly give a five-star rating to this period product charity serving public high schools in North Carolina. Their commitment to eradicating period poverty, promoting inclusivity, and fostering educational opportunities is unparalleled. Their impact on the lives of students is invaluable, and their dedication to a brighter, more equitable future is inspiring.
