As a staff for a People, Inc. program I have to say that it is a great company to work for. I never dread going into work because my job allows me to make a difference everyday while being personally rewarding. Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Developmentally Disabled Centers, Disabilities, Human Service Organizations, Human Services
Mission: People inc. Exists so that individuals with disabling conditions or other special needs have the support they need to participate and succeed in an accepting society.
Programs: Individual residential alternatives - program which provides room, board and protective oversight to its residents. Approximately 766 clients served.
day habilitation - supervised instructional program during the day time hours. The program accomodates mentally retarded and developmentally disabled individuals living in agency residential facilities and private homes. Approximately 1142 clients served.
intermediate care facilities are facilities that provide group home care for individuals with intensive developmental disabilities. Approximately 65 clients served.
