Our part-time children's advocate meets with both child witnesses and victims as well as with the nonabusive parent to provide information and support in a safe, confidential environment. In the first year of the program the children's advocate worked with 70 children who attended support groups in 34 different sessions. She saw 16 individual children in 38 sessions and worked with 4 parents in 12 sessions.
