Our advocates provided information to 196 individuals on restraining orders, assisted 27 victims at injunction hearings, and assisted in 241 family law cases and 119 criminal cases.

We worked together with hospital/clinic staff to get immediate help for survivors and explain options while providing a supportive environment. Our advocates assisted 139 individuals (adults and child victims) who were identified as victims or survivors of sexual assault. We responded to 18 sexual assault nurse exam (sane) calls at fort memorial hospital.
people against domestic abuse of jefferson county added a children's advocacy program in 2014. Our part-time children's advocate meets with both child witnesses and victims as well as with the nonabusive parent to provide information and support in a safe, confidential environment. In the first year of the program the children's advocate worked with 70 children who attended support groups in 34 different sessions. She saw 16 individual children in 38 sessions and worked with 4 parents in 12 sessions.
