Mission: College students are trained in environmental interpretation. They pick a topic for development of a teaching topic within the range of the theme for the year. After their topic is developed, they are involved in a learning expedition in canoes on the Penobscot River as participants, and then they become the educators for a K-12 learning program for the region. The students also develop a series of community programs, which are intergenerational in scope that combine education and celebration of the Penobscot River and Bay region.
