Mission: Pee dee community action partnership, inc. (pdcap) is a private multi-county, non-profit community based organization with a tri-party representative administering board of directors. It was founded in 1965 and designated by local governments to address problems, issues and concerns of poverty and to promote quality living, particularly for low income persons, families and communities of dillon, florence and marion counties in south carolina. Pdcap is structured according to the standards of requirements cited in the office of economic opportunity (oeo) act of 1964. Pdcap is committed to enhancing the social and economic self-efficiency of low-income people and their environment of dillon, florence, and marion counties in south carolina, through coordination and partnering relationships and by conducting a range of custom designed services and activities geared toward reducing problems of poverty and making the community a better place for all to live.
