The conservancy continued its active stewardship of the park with approximately 22 volunteer events, including tree plantings, mulching, watering, invasive plant clearance and trail maintenance. This included the reconstruction of the 1962 stone wall along the shoal creek hike & bike trail, irrigation system repairs, and flowerbed maintenance. Pease park conservancy has partnered with the austin parks & recreation department to develop a master plan to guide the future recreational development and environmental restoration of the park. A master plan is a general guide for park officials and stakeholders outlining appropriate park use and their approximate location within the park site. During 2015, the conservancy began planning for implementation of the park master plan adopted by the city council in 2014.
