Mission: We promote relationships free of violence and control by providing a safe place to receive intervention, advocacy, and education services using prevention strategies and community partnerships.
Programs: Crisis shelter programs: provide safe emergency shelter to victims in immediate danger. Other services include but are not limited to providing food, clothing, personal and household products, safety planning, transportation and medical care. Survivors whose stay exceeds 72 hours receive additional individualized services. (344 adults and children served)
family violence counseling: outreach program provides support groups and victim advocacy and seeks to build a cooperative network to supply information, resources, education and training. (957 new clients)
extended shelter/supportive housing programs: provide long term, low income housing and supportive services to women and their children who are survivors of domestic violence and find themselves homeless. (33 families)
