Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: Paws of jackson hole's mission is to serve as a community resource to prevent pet homelessness, to protect pets from harm and suffering, and to promote responsible ownership.
Programs: Paws has nine community programs dedicated to preventing pet homelessness, protecting pets from harm and suffering and promoting responsible pet ownership. Our hallmark program is the support of our local animal shelters. Over the course of the past 10 years, paws has granted in excess of 500,000 to local animal shelters in our area.
spay/neuter program: in 2017 paws provided nearly 800 free and low cost spay and neuter vouchers to residents of teton county, wy, star valley, wy and teton county, id which brings the total number of vouchers paws has funded to more than 5,400 since 2008.
medfund: the paws medfund helps pay veterinary bills for stray dogs and cats and provides funding for individuals who are unable to pay unexpected or emergency veterinary bills. Through the medfund, paws has assisted more than 1,500 local pet families.
