Mission: To provide canine assisted education & care teams.
Programs: Provided weekly visits for 340 students in mn area schools. As a result, students who have a variety of learning profiles experienced a broad range of academic improvements in areas of literacy, work completion, school attendance, self regulation, social behavior and social communication skills.
paws for learning canine care teams provided recovery assistance & debriefings to teachers, administrators, families, and students who had experienced multiple traumatic events or student deaths.
paws for learning teams partnered with security staff, admission staff, counseling & wellness staff, class academic support staff, and 1st and 2nd year medical student support staff to provide mental health, academic support, self care, and critical incident assistance to 900 students & 70 staff from 3 universities.
