I am President of a rescue group in Brunswick co. NC called R.A.C.E. ( Rescue animals community effort ) Our group takes in hard to place dogs and cats such as dogs that need amputations , eye removal , tumor surgery etc .
If it wasn't for the financial assistance from Paws-Ability it would not be possible to rescue these injured animals.
They are a strong force in Brunswick co. and have helped every rescue group in our county. We are truly blessed to have this fund raising group in our county.

Adopt an Angel has received help from Paws-Ability when it built the local Fix A Friend Spay Neuter Clinic. They also received a grant for spay/neuter services that helped boost surgeries at the clinic which helped us grow the business to sustainability. Paws-Ability has helped fund numerous heartworm treatments for our homeless animals. We LOVE them and their passion to help rescues do what they do best: rescue animals.

Originally I became aware of Paws Ability by attending one of their fund raisers. People seemed so caring, conscientious, and well-organized. I made a donation and promptly received a beautifully handwritten, sincere thank-you note. I decided to attend one of their monthly meetings. Again, everyone was welcoming and seemed genuinely concerned about the plight of animals in Brunswick County.

I joined the organization and volunteer to help in various ways. I believe in the mission of helping improve the quality of life in our community for its residents and its animals. I am completely impressed with how the money that Paws Ability raises goes to valid, qualified charities that help animals, and no money is wasted on paid staff or high overhead expenses. This group and its members are pure in their objective and successful in their work.
