Causes: Philanthropy, Private Grantmaking Foundations
Mission: To support the activities of the licking county foundation to meet the needs of the growing and changing licking county community. This may be done by providing funds to the licking county foundation in furtherance of its purposes in licking county and elsewhere. The foundation also makes distributions to various organizations that qualify as charitable exempt organizations under 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code.
Programs: The total grants made by the foundations during 2017 were $492,956. The more significant grants made and purposes are as follows:st. Vincent de paul society - $74,644. Funds were provide that allowed st. Vincent to remodel and improve its thrift store & food pantry. Also to provide funds for operations of the men's shelterhabitat for humanity - $40,000 provided funding for mid-ohio rehab projectneighborhood war on drugs - $22,000granville village school district $284,850st. Edwards catholic church- $17,850 funds for flood relief efforts and for unexpected operational expenses of the church. Salvation army - $15,000 funds to allow for the purchase of new cafeteria tables
