Mission: To increase public awareness and understanding of parkinson's disease; promote unity within the parkinson's community; and raise funds for ongoing research and study of parkinson's disease.
Programs: Produced annual parkinson's unity walk in which there were close to 10,000 participants. Monies raised at the walk were distributed to the parkinson disease foundation, american parkinson disease association, national parkinson foundation, parkinson's institute and clinical center, michael j. Fox foundation for parkinson's research, and the parkinson alliance to fund research.
