Causes: Human Service Organizations, Human Services
Mission: Provide education and support services to Persons with Parkinson's Disease (PD) and their families; to educate the public in order to develop an understanding of PD; to support education of the medical profession to encourage early diagnosis; to promote research for the causes and cures of PD.
Target demographics: We are committed to helping Parkinson’s Disease (PD) patients and their families/caregivers understand PD and learn about activities and support groups that may help with the management of PD.
Geographic areas served: the West Michigan area
Programs: The Mission of the Parkinson’s Association of West Michigan is to provide the best information on opportunities, treatment, research, and care to people with Parkinson’s and their families.
