It is nice to see that this foundation takes into account what a patient will actually need for treatment. The Men Matter Too blanket is great to keep an individual warm during treatment.

This organization was able to put a smile on our mom's face when she was told she had Stage III breast cancer. The items in this PAK was carefully considered for a persons comfort needs.

A family member was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer. I felt as though she deserved something to comfort her and make her feel special despite what she was going through. Once she received the gift, this is what she said to me:

A close friend began her battle with breast cancer in her third trimester of her pregnancy with her third child. She loved this bag and said it had all the right comforting items. This foundation is a pleasure to work with and support.

My mother-in-law has been fighting breast cancer for over 4 years.
The cancer has now spread to other places and she continues to have chemo
treatments. The PAK bag has been such a comfort to her during the long chemo days.
I think this foundation is such a blessing to so many people fighting cancer.

I wanted to do something special for my mom after she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and I found out about the pink bags they do, which are just adorable and full of things she would really use during her journey. She absolutely loved it!! And, everyone I spoke with regarding the bag was so nice and wanted to hear my mom's story and talked to me about my feelings. I can't say enough what a blessing it was to be able to provide any amount of comfort to my sister when she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. We received the lovely blanket and pillow along with a T-Shirt. She received many compliments and inquiries as to where the items were from. Items that were made with chemo-patients in mind. The Pamela A. Kearby Foundation helped me give to my sister something that was useful and symbolic during a very uncertain time in her life.

It was a great comforting gift and felt I really helped my friend. She still thanks me to this day.

I was first introduced to this nonprofit last summer when I was recovering from breast cancer surgery and treatment. As a recipient of one of the pampering tote bags, I was grateful for the outpouring of support from all sides. Hearing the words, "You have breast cancer" can be devastating; the gift of the tote and the comforting products inside it, reminded me (and my family) that we are not alone. After recovery, my husband and I promised to 'pay it forward,' and we donated hand-crafted products to the totes. We continue to support the Kearby foundation through donations and fund-raising. They make a real difference!
