Causes: Voluntary Employees Beneficiary Associations (Government)
Mission: A labor organization which promotes the interests of its members through the collective bargaining process to secure better working conditions, wages and benefits. Membership dues are paid to cover the costs of office expenses, disability insurance, legal fees/cost of counsel, amily bereavement/health issues and any civic activities the organization may choose to support. We work with porac ( peace officers research association of california) to provide our members with their legal defense fund benefit. We attend training courses about collective bargaining. We recognize our members for their service upon retirement.
