Very cherished place. Provides valuable resources for the LGBTQ+ Community. Volunteers and employees are great and treat everyone like family.
I have had the opportunity to engage with Ozark Pride Inc., a local pride organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for the LGBTQ+ community in Hardy,AR.
My experience with this organization has been incredibly positive, and I am impressed by the impact they have within our community.
Ozark Pride Inc. hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including pride parades, educational workshops, social gatherings, and community outreach programs. These events not only celebrate diversity and inclusivity but also provide a safe and welcoming space for individuals of all backgrounds to come together and support one another.
One aspect that stands out about Ozark Pride Inc. is their commitment to promoting equality and acceptance. Through their advocacy efforts, they have been able to raise awareness about LGBTQ+ issues, challenge discrimination, and foster a more inclusive society. The organization works tirelessly to provide resources and support to LGBTQ+ individuals, ensuring that everyone feels valued and respected.
Furthermore, Ozark Pride Inc. is run by a dedicated team of volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. Their hard work and dedication are evident in the positive impact they have on the local community.
In conclusion, Ozark Pride Inc. plays a vital role in promoting diversity, equality, and acceptance in Sharp county. I highly recommend getting involved with this organization, whether through volunteering, attending events, or showing your support in any way possible. Together, we can create a more inclusive and welcoming community for all.
I founded Ozark Pride in 2019 as a way to help invite positivity and inclusion to our small town while also bringing awareness to the local LGBTQ+ community as it has grown substantially in the last 10 years here. The hope was that through starting a project that included the entire community we could help to promote tolerance and understanding of others to the people of Hardy Ar, and the surrounding area. In 2021 I turned the organization over to Jeremiah who has positioned Ozark Pride as an non-profit within the community that gives a scholarship yearly to local LGBTQ+ students and still does Pride Day every year for our towns and often hosts local businesses as vendors at this event. My hope for the non profit in the future is that they more main true to my original vision and maintain an inclusive relationship with people outside of the LGBTQ+ scope while being a beacon of hope and creating safe spaces for everyone.
