Causes: Education, Undergraduate Colleges
Mission: Ozark Bible College began in 1942 in Bentonville, Arkansas, moving to Joplin, Missouri in 1944. The college has a strong emphasis on the Bible, Christian education, preaching, evangelism, music ministry, youth ministry, missions and athletics. In 1985, upon consolidation with Midwest Christian College, the name was changed to Ozark Christian College. While the college is non-denominational, support and students primarily come from Christian churches and Churches of Christ. OCC is a member of the Accrediting Association of Bible Colleges (AABC).
