Mission: Outreach's mission is to promote equality and quality of life for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.
Programs: Outreach programs identify individuals likely to have needs that can be addressed by the delivery of human services. During 2017 we assisted 6,401 individuals seeking help from human service agencies and provided peer counseling to 120 individuals. 541 individuals used our drop-in center and 199 visited our cybercenter. Many individuals make use of outreach's extensive library.
outreach creates a better quality of life for lgbt older adults by building partnerships with senior service providers and providing intergenerational social opportunities.
outreach provides peer counseling, facilitation of support groups on matters of interest to the lgbt community, and space for public meetings and activities. In addition, outreach produces an annual directory of services of interest to lgbt community members, maintains a website that connects lgbt community members to a variety of resources, and engages in advocacy on public policy issues of concern to the lgbt community.
