Mission: Mission Statement:Our Lady of the Assumption School seeks to create a nurturing environment that provides for the spiritual, emotional, social, academic, and physical development of the child. Within the contest of a Christian faith community, the faculty and staff challenge each child to realize his/her fullest spiritual and academic potential, encourage high standards of academic performance and Christian behavior, and foster self-discipline, self-worth, personal responsibility and moral decision making.Our staff believes:*parents are the primary educators of their children and a partnership can exist between the home and school.*the development of each child's spirit, mind and body is fostered.* an enriching academic environment is provided*each child is unique and has the right to succeed*students are involved in Christian service based on respect and dignity for each person.By implementing these goals, we hop to fashion students who will affect society through their lives and ideals.
