Clothing often helps us express who we are to others, but also how the outside world perceives us. Our Closet allows those going through challenging times to reclaim some sense of dignity and self worth. Staff and volunteers create environments that feel like any other retail shopping experience. It may sound like a small thing to help people put together a wardrobe they feel good in — but it's a tremendous gift...and often a bridge to make that positive first impression or new job opportunity. We all want to be "seen" in a positive light....Our closet brings the light!!

Mission: Provide clothing to vulnerable philadelphians and their families free of charge by operating "pop-up shops" throughout the city.
Programs: Provide community members who are struggling to make ends meet the opportunity to receive free, quality clothing through the operations of a donated goods program allowing them to meet a basic need so they can better focus on handling other stressors in their lives, such as securing a steady source of income or finding permanent housing solutions, with confidence.
