Mission: The orthopaedic research society (the "society") is a nonprofit corporation organized to support, develop, and encourage research and sponsor educational activities in fields related to orthopaedic surgery. The society was incorporated in the state of illinois in 1982. Prior to 1982, a predecessor organization operated in canada as an unincorporated association.
