Causes: Health, Nerve, Muscle & Bone Diseases Research
Mission: Offering educational seminars and anatomy workshops to physicians, researchers and fellows participating off site at teaching hospitals and universities throughout the world. By attending ongoing medical educational conferences, physician and other health professionals will be encouraged to keep current with orhopaedic, musculoskeletal diseases and movement analysis information. Physicians can also be trained to apply new or emerging techniques in knee, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand surgery.
Programs: Research abstract of operative versus non-operative treatment of patients with knee dislocations, long-term functional results, associated injuries and natural history. Promotion of information and knowledge of orthopaedic care.
clinical research - voluntary participation in clinical provide patients access to medications which may not yet be available.
bioskills labs - conduct educational seminars and anatomy workshops for physician training. Working to explore and promote newest non-surgical and surgical methods of treatment to improve patient care.
education - the foundation sponsors the sports doctor for a day lab which is for student education about current surgical techniques for the repair of broken bones.
