Programs: Developing Affordable Housing - ORRF works to address the affordable housing shortage by building and selling homes at a price that is affordable for low to moderate income families. It costs more to build an affordable home than we can sell it for, so ORRF covers the excess costs to relieve families of this burden. Housing instability - ORRF works to address housing instability by educating REALTORS® on programs that may help make homeownership an option for those who never thought it was possible. ORRF also works to help people avoid eviction or foreclosure by connecting them with resources. Food insecurity - ORRF works to address food insecurity by supporting food-related outreach initiatives such as food packing events and renovating and improving local community gardens that improve access to fresh fruits and vegetables for those in need.
