Nonprofit Overview
Mission: The mission of the organization is to act as a sanctioning body for 1000 yard shooting and the encouragement of organized rifle shooting among residents of the united states. The goal is to provide a view towards and knowledge of improved marksmanship and the safe handling and proper care of firearms. The mission should be recognized further as a development of characteristics namely; honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play, and self-reliance, which are essential of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism.
Programs: There are ten light gun competitions held annually to promote the benchrest club's primary exempt purpose for shooters with guns 17 pounds or less.
there are ten heavy gun competitions held annually to promote the benchrest club's primary exempt purpose for shooters with guns of any weight.
there is a world open shooting event held once per year, which is open to members and non-members of the club to promote the benchrest club's primary exempt purpose for both light and heavy gun classes.
