Mission: The Organization for Fatigue & Fibromyalgia Education & Research,(OFFER), is a Utah-based, charitable, 501(c)(3), non-profit organization devoted to eradicating Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. OFFER works to accomplish that goal by spearheading research, education, and advocacy for individuals who suffer from these debilitating illnesses. OFFER was organized to raise awareness of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and Fibromyalgia (FM), to provide patients and professionals with information and advocacy. OFFER seeks to educate patients, healthcare providers, third party claim payers, and the general public about ME/CFS or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and Fibromyalgia through the use of written and recorded materials, conferences, personal communication, monthly education meetings, and the Internet. OFFER's research efforts include identifying, funding and supporting promising studies on the causes and treatments of myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia.
