Mission: The purpose of the oregon mennonite historical and genealogical society is to record and preserve the history of mennonite and related groups for present and future generations. The organization releases three newsletters each year.
Programs: The omhgs (dba pacific northwest mennonite historical society) collects, preserves, and organizes records, writings, and artifacts of mennonite groups for the oregon, washington, idaho, alaska, and montana regions. The society recently opened a new facility that houses the pnmhs archives and library. The facility provides online and on site resources for research in mennonite related topics with the mcusa archives and the archon archive system.
