My daughter played two seasons with this organization. What really displeased me are the following:
1) some of the other teams were stacked, meaning the girls clearly had been playing together for years and we're very good. Our team was all new girls, new to softball and to the organization so when we played these teams we would get slaughtered. This was not very much fun for our girls or good for their confidence and did nothing for their learning abilities.
2) some of the coaches of the other teams were so inappropriate for 8 year old girls softball. Yelling and screaming at the girls for errors even when they were clearly going to win.
3) parents of the opposing teams cheering and celebrating ewhen the score is something like 16-2. I get it, you want to cheer for our kids but there is a level that is overboard when you have a team of defeated girls and you get them out and there is a overwhelming loud cheer. Okay the poor 8 year old girls know they are going to lose another game, way to rub it in parents. Proper etiquette should be encouraged by the board, coaches, and it is common sense!
4) the board members here have to be some of the rudest individuals I have ever dealt with. They should be reminded that they are volunteers for the GIRLS and it is not about them.
