Mission: Pathways to College is an after-school program providing information, guidance and support to help our target population become the best high school students, college applicants and college students they can be to prepare for lifelong success. Although we welcome all students of color, we focus on under-served African American high school students, whose potential has been marginalized for generations.
Results: 100% of our graduating Scholars earn college acceptance. 90% entered in college, compared to 54% of Black Americans nationwide aged 18 and older who entered college. 61% either earned their degree or are still enrolled in college, compared to 23% of Black Americans nationwise who eventually earned a bachelor’s degree.
Target demographics: high school students of color
Geographic areas served: under-resourced communities
Programs: information and guidance that will support our Scholars as high school students, college applicants and college students, to prepare for lifelong success.
