Causes: Arts & Culture, Opera
Mission: Opera in the heights (oh! ) provides an intimate stage for emerging young opera performers and brings casual, affordable opera to the greater houston area. Four, fully-staged, traditional operas are produced each year.
Programs: Opera in the heights offers 28 mainstage performances and 8 open dress rehersals of traditional productions of popular operas. During the 2013-2014 season, don giovanni, lucia di lammermoor, la traviata and don pasquale were performed to enrich and enlighten residents of harris county and the surrounding area.
