Causes: Human Services, Residential Care & Adult Day Programs
Mission: To serve the developmentally disabled community by providing vocational training, consulting services, social and educational programs, and potentially affordable housing in forms ranging from board and care to group homes to simple rental relationships.
Programs: On my own community services has successfully provided job development services for over 6 years to clients with developmental disabilities. Approximately 16 clients have been placed in competitive employment settings and are currently receiving job coaching services. Omocs pvsa and esa program continues to grow and increase its client intake. On my own community services received a three year carf accreditation. As of june 30, 2017, on my own community services offers the following programs and services:-job development (habilitation and non-habilitation clients)-job coaching-pvsa training-vocational assessments-external situational assessmentson my own community services received a three year accreditation award from the commission on accreditation of rehabilitation facilities. This award shows the organization's commitment to excellence in the area of vocational services.
