OLPC has a devoted and highly international team and community, both working to make their programs successful. The result is a combination of visionary efforts to change countries and open-source ethos, which has inspired me and many of my friends to focus more energy on helping children realize their potential, regardless of where they grow up.

Mission: To develop and advocate for technological and pedological innovations and policies that ensure that every child in the world can have access to the most modern, robust and connected learning tools.
Programs: Fundraise in order to purchase and subsidise laptops for children, including the cost of hardware, periferals, software, insurance, and student teacher, school and comminuty preparation. Further olpc uses contributions to continue innovating the technology, software, content and pedagogy associated with children using laptops for learning.
