I am very lucky to be a part of this non-profit. Our mission is education and philanthropy. Each April we donate monies raised to 10-12 local non-profits. Some of our fundraising includes: baking 6,000 cookies for the Bayshore Marathon each May, baking Christmas cookies each December for sale and also for a local Jingle Bell Run, a Garage Sale in May, Trivia Night, and Parade of Homes. Our members sew and decorate holiday stockings filled with necessities for women and men in need, make and supply satin pillow covers to Cowell Cancer Center, make quilts for a local assisted living organization, supply Thanksgiving dinners to Old Mission Peninsula families in need and also supply winter clothing for children in need. Old Mission Women's Club has been in existence since 1937.
