Programs: Housing: redevelopment of residential property program coordination between residents and available housing rehabilitation programs including: cleveland restoration society loan program, housing enhancement loan program, neighborhood housing services loan program repair-a-home loan program (income restricted) senior housing assistance program (for elderly and disables home owners with income restrictions) afford-a-home program (income restricted home purchase program) home weatherization assistance program (grant availability for homeowners and tenants that meet low-income guidelines)
commercial development: redevelopment of commercial property administer storefront renovation program coordinate zoning variance requests maintain and dispense information concerning commercial property availability initiate business investment district program facilitate business interests and coordinate communication and governmental relationships
pre-development pursue organizations to develop real estate assist developers in coordinating activities with community for approval of development prepare housing trust fund applications with developer for funding identify property for investment or development option property for physical control have phase one environmental evaluation conducted, conduct feasibility studies for use of property, coordinate development opportunities with master plans and city planning efforts
near west recreation run a youth recreation league comprised of 9 sports and 10 partner programs that serves over 1,000 children in the ohio city, tremont, clark-fulton and detroit shoreway neighborhoods.
